Corio Little Athletics provides many athletic opportunities for our children – but it needs parents to assist in the running of the Centre.

Without people in these roles the Centre cannot function. Put simply, No Committee – No Centre!

Please consider volunteering a little of your time.

The more volunteers we have, the less each person has to do and the greater the variety of new ideas.

The Corio LAC Committee, is made up of
• Executive Member
• Ordinary Members

Our constitution stipulates that all clubs are required to be represented on the committee by either an executive, or an ordinary committee member.

Executive Members - Our constitution outlines the following positions as executive positions. Elected Executive members are expected to attend committee meetings.
• President • Vice President
• Secretary • Assistant Secretary
• Treasurer • Records & Ranking
• Venue coordinator • Publicity
• Region Delegate • Cross Country
• Schools Coordinator

Ordinary member –.Our constitution allows for 4 Ordinary Members, Elected ordinary members are expected to attend committee meetings. Ordinary Members may also take on a Support Role.

Support Roles - We also have some opportunities available for parents to assist without being a committee member. There are a number of roles which are valuable to us but are not a part of the committee:
• Championship Coordinator
• Assistant Treasurer
• Grants and Sponsorship Coordinator

The people doing these roles are not expected to attend committee meetings but are welcome to attend.

The Corio LAC Committee, meets on the third Thursday of every month, at 7:30 pm at the Centre Clubrooms
