IMPORTANT SEASON UPDATE - SEASON 20/21

OCTOBER 9 2020

After discussion and clarification on the guidelines issued by LAVIC to Regional Little Athletics Centers, the following decisions have been made by the center committee:

• The Victorian Government review of restrictions on October 19th may change the way we need to operate and we have to fully understand the impact of this important announcement.

• With regret we cannot start the season on the October 31st as previously communicated.

• Mid November is the tentative timing for the new start date.

• Whilst we know this decision will not please our athletes and families, the clarification from LAVIC has highlighted the need for further planning to ensure we are compliant.

The committee remains fully committed to running a season and providing a safe and fun environment for the athletes and their families.

I thank you for your understanding and patience whilst we progress towards a compliant solution.
