Multi Class Athletes

From under 9, athletes may choose to become classified to compete in Region and State events. Little Athletics Australia’s classification method groups athletes with disability to create meaningful (multi-class) competition.

In multi-class competition, athletes with a range of disabilities compete against each other and rankings are determined by calculating the percentage they scored against the baseline for their classification.

Inclusive opportunities are available for athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities, vision impairment, hearing impairment and transplant recipients. Athletes are required to submit medical reports and meet the minimum impairment criteria in order to compete.

Results & Personal Bests

Personal Bests (PBs)

Track your performance, celebrate personal bests, and see how you're improving each week! Little Athletics’ focus is on each athlete’s personal improvement.

The first time they do an event, they set a distance, height or time and then each time they repeat this event they aim to improve their result.

Personal Bests are called PBs and celebrated throughout the season and at our presentation function.

Our online results system, ResultsHQ will highlight PBs for you.
